So simple, yet delicious. It will become a favourite in your house.
Ingredients
- 4 beetroot medium raw
- 3 carrots medium raw
- 1 red onion raw
- 60 ml Italian salad dressing
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Finely julienne the beetroots and carrots.

Step 2Slice onion finely.

Step 3Add dressing, salt and pepper and mix well.
Recipe Notes
I use a V-slicer, which cuts the vegies very fine.
Wear gloves while preparing the beetroot and use a plastic board, so as not to stain everything!
Tastes better the next day as the dressing seems to tone down the rawness of the red onion.
Use any dressing you like, maybe even a creamy dressing would work nicely.
