Ingredients

  • 2 tbs oil
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 800 g canned diced tomato
  • 450 g frozen spinach
  • 2 tsp dried basil leaves
  • 18 cannelloni pasta
  • 1 L cheese sauce
  • 1/2 cup cheese grated

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 200C. Lightly grease a shallow dish.
  • Step 2
    Heat oil and butter in frypan and fry onion and garlic for 4 minutes.

    Add mince, brown. Add tomatoes, spinach, and basil. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 4
    Remove lid, cook for 5 minutes to thicken. Cool.
  • Step 5
    Fill the pasta tubes, place in dish.
  • Step 6
    Cover cannelloni with cheese sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Step 7
    Cook for 30-35 minutes.
