Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 kg green prawns fresh peeled
  • 440 g coconut milk
  • 1 tbs fresh ginger grated
  • 3 tsp sesame oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Marinate prawns in coconut milk, ginger and sesame oil for 2-3 hours.
  • Step 2
    Thread prawns onto skewers, placing 4-5 prawns on each, depending on size.
  • Step 3
    Grill on barbeque for 2-3 minutes each side.
Recipe Notes
Do not use more sesame oil than stated or it will take over other flavours. Prawns are juicy and tender. Nice served up on a bed of steamed basmati rice.
