Can you think of anything more divine than the combination of biscuits, toffee, bananas and whipped cream? Banoffee really is the dessert straight from the gods, and in this variation we’ve turned it into a dessert that looks just as good as it tastes.
How to make banoffee puddings: key tips
Creating a banoffee pudding doesn’t need to be complicated. In fact, I would argue that one of the best parts of this dessert is that it is just so easy! There’s really nothing to do except some whisking, whipping, slicing and layering - and then devouring, of course.

What goes into our banoffee puddings recipe?
Just like the classic, this banoffee puddings recipe combines four key ingredients. First up, we’ve chosen Butternut Snap biscuits for the base. They just have the perfect amount of crunch and respond well when crumbled. For the caramelly toffee component, we’ve gone with Top 'n' Fill caramel. You could opt to make your own caramel, but we think the store-bought stuff is just as yummy and takes significantly less effort. Finally, it’s just sliced bananas and some whipped cream you’ll need, as well as some dark chocolate of your choice.

Ingredients
- 250g Butternut Snap biscuits
- 395g tin Top 'n' Fill caramel
- 2 large bananas
- 300ml thickened cream
- 1 tsp caster sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 20g dark chocolate
Method
-
Step 1Place biscuits in a zip-lock bag and bash with a rolling pin to form a rough crumble.
-
Step 2Pour Top 'n' Fill out into a bowl and whisk until smooth. Slice bananas. Using hand-held beaters, whip cream with sugar and vanilla until thick. Use a sharp knife to cut chocolate into thin shards.
-
Step 3To assemble parfaits, place a layer of biscuit crumble in the base of four glasses. Top with a layer of caramel. Add a layer of sliced bananas. Repeat with another layer of biscuit crumble, caramel and bananas. Finish each parfait with a big dollop of whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shards. Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
Can I prepare the parfaits ahead of time?
