A delicious and creamy banana Flan with a Dulce de Leche topping!
Ingredients
- 350 g dulce de leche
- 5 egg beaten
- 375 g sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 g thickened cream
- 2 banana mashed ripe
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C degrees.

Step 2Pour Dulce de Leche into greased 22cm cake pan. Cover the entire bottom of the pan, set aside.

Step 3In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until well combined. Mix in the condensed milk, vanilla, milk, cream and bananas. Mix well.

Step 4Pour mixture into cake pan and cover with aluminium foil. Place covered pan in a large roasting pan. Fill roasting pan half way up with boiling water.

Step 5Bake for one 1 hour and 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Step 6Remove baking pan from oven. Place flan still in pan in bowl of water to let cool. Remove from water and refrigerate overnight.
