A delicious creamy pasta served inside a crusty bread roll. The best part of this dish is that the mac and cheese sauce soaks into the bread. It's simply delicious, and super easy and quick to make. You can use any roll you like!
Ingredients

- 50 g speck small cut into batons
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese grated
- 2 spring onions finely sliced
- 100 ml pure cream
- 1 garlic clove finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbs olive oil

Method
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 160C. Add pasta to boiling water, and cook 8-10 minutes or until al dente, drain then set aside.

Step 3Heat a little olive oil in a large saucepan on medium heat and cook the speck for a few minutes until crispy, add in the spring onions and cook for 30 seconds while stirring, set aside.
-
Step 4In the same pan add a little more oil and add in the croutons, season with salt, pepper and the paprika. Cook until lightly golden then set aside.
-
Step 5Using the same pan add in the cream and mustard, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low, add the cheese and cook stirring until the cheese has melted. Add the pasta, speck & onions to the cheese sauce and stir well.
-
Step 6Fill each roll with the pasta mix, top with the croutons and then place into a baking tray along with the roll lids. Bake for 15 minutes until toasted.
