Easy to make bacon, cheese and egg puff pastry flan.
Ingredients
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 2 tbs barbecue sauce
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 3 bacon rashers chopped
- 1 cup tasty cheese grated
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup cream
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.

Step 2Lightly grease a flat baking tray.

Step 3Join pastry sheets together along one side and stretch to fit tray.

Step 4Cover with baking paper and fill with dried beans or rice.

Step 5Bake for 10 minutes.

Step 6Remove paper and beans.

Step 7Spread pastry with barbeque sauce.

Step 8Layer onion, bacon and cheese over the pastry.

Step 9Combine egg and cream and pour over pastry.

Step 10Bake for 15 minutes.
Recipe Notes
When grandchildren come over I leave out the onion.
This is a simple meal most children will eat.
