My friend gave me this recipe. I now cook if I need a meal for the family in a hurry. So easy, tasty and healthy!
Ingredients
- 6 slices short-cut bacon rashers diced
- 200 g fettuccine
- 4 tbs olive oil
- 2 pinches ground black pepper *to taste
- 1 extra-large egg
- 1/2 cup parmesan grated
Method

Step 1Fry bacon until crispy.

Step 2Cook pasta until al dente. Drain then return to saucepan.

Step 3Add cooked bacon, enough olive oil to coat pasta and a couple of grinds of pepper.

Step 4Turn heat off, add egg and Parmesan, stir until well coated.

Step 5Serve immediately.
Recipe Notes
This recipe is easily adjusted to suit your taste and how many your cooking for. This serves about 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children.
