Quick and easy apple cake. No icing, just top with hot butter, cinnamon and sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 apples chopped peeled
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup sultanas
- 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
- 125g butter melted
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- 1 tsp mixed spice
Method

Step 1Mix all ingredients together with a wooden spoon.

Step 2Bake at 180C for approximately 40 minutes.

Step 3Spread with butter while hot, and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
