Use simple store-bought ingredients to whip up these delicious air fryer Hawaiian pizza bombs. Enjoy them hot with the mozzarella oozing!
Ingredients
- 2 x 250g fresh pizza dough balls
- 100g pizza sauce
- 80g ham, diced
- 1/2 tin pineapple chunks, drained
- 100g grated mozzarella
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- dried Italian herbs, to garnish
Method
-
Step 1Allow dough balls to come to room temperature according to packet instructions.
-
Step 2Preheat air fryer to 180C.
-
Step 3Cut each ball into four pieces. Take on piece and stretch out into a flat circle and place in your palm. Add a dollop of pizza sauce, some ham, pineapple and cheese. Pull the edges of the circle up to enclose the filling, squeezing together to completely seal the joins. Place sealed side down in the air fryer basket. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
-
Step 4Brush the tops of the pizza bombs with olive oil and sprinkle over Italian herbs. Cook for 12 minutes until golden.
Recipe Notes
My air fryer is on the small side and only fit 8 balls. If your air fryer is large, you may fit more in. Adjust ingredient quantities accordingly.
Fresh dough balls are available in the fridge at the supermarket.
