Brie and cranberry are a delicious festive flavour combo, made even better wrapped in pastry and air-fried to crisp and oozy cheesy perfection.
Ingredients
- 3 sheets puff pastry, defrosted
- 200g brie cheese, sliced
- 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
Method
-
Step 1Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes. Cut each puff pastry sheet into four squares. Place 1-2 slices of brie in the centre of one square and top with a teaspoon of cranberry sauce. Lift two opposite corners of pastry and press to join in the centre, then lift a third corner and press to join to the centre, then gently press the diagonal joins together. Lift the fourth corner and press to join to the centre, then gently press the diagonal joins together. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 12 parcels.
-
Step 2Brush the tops of the parcels with beaten egg. Working in batches depending on the size of your air fryer basket, cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Recipe Notes
These would be delicious topped with some sesame seeds.
You can air-fry these ahead of time, and gently reheat in the oven.
