Ingredients

  • 250g brie
  • 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Method

  • Step 1
Cut brie into 2-3cm cubes. Place flour in one bowl, mix egg and milk together in a second bowl, and place breadcrumbs in a third bowl. Toss each brie cube in flour, then coat in egg mixture and finally breadcrumbs. Repeat with remaining cubes. Place in a single layer on a small tray and freeze for 1 hour.
  • Step 2
Place a circle of baking paper in the base of your air fryer basket. Place crumbed brie cubes on the paper leaving a little space between each. Cook at 200C for 8 minutes until golden.
  • Step 3
Serve with tomato chutney or a mixture of equal parts cranberry and tomato sauce.
Recipe Notes

+ 1hr freezing.

Freezing the crumbed bites will prevent the cheese from melting and oozing out before the crumb coating can cook.

For extra deliciousness, double coat the cheese in a second round of egg and breadcrumbs.
