It only takes a five minutes to cook this yummy corn on the cob. Add a few spices and some parmesan and you have an amazing side dish.
Ingredients
- 1kg frozen corn on the cob
- 100g salted butter, melted
- 30g parmesan, grated
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp chives, chopped
- Extra butter, to serve
Method

Step 1Place corn in a single layer in a microwave safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes.

Step 2Place butter in a shallow dish. Place parmesan in a second dish. Roll cooked corn cobs in butter and then parmesan. Place on serving dish and sprinkle with paprika, chilli, chives and plenty of salt and pepper. Dot with extra butter and serve.
Recipe Notes
For a lovely char-grilled look, heat a frypan with a little butter and cook microwaved corn cobs for 1 minute each, turning a few times. Remove from pan and coat in butter, parmesan and spices.
