If you love chocolate and adore its rich, indulgent flavour then you simply must try this absolutely decadent 3-ingredient chocolate ganache. Ganache can be used as a filling, a spread, cake frosting or simply as a decadent mousse.
Ingredients
- 600ml cream
- 400g dark chocolate
- 1/8 cup Dutch cocoa
Method

Step 1Using a bain-marie slowly melt 600ml cream with 400g dark chocolate. Mix with a silicone spatula to ensure there aren’t any lumps of chocolate hiding at the bottom.

Step 2Remove the bowl from the heat and place it on a tea towel. Give the chocolate another mix until it’s smooth, silky and shiny.

Step 3Slowly pour the chocolate mixture into a clean bowl and gently place it in the refrigerator for a few hours to firm up.

Step 4Now if want to eat it as a mousse, sprinkle 1/8 cup of Dutch cocoa over the ganache mixture, and dig in.
