White Chocolate Panna Cotta

So simple, but absolutely divine. I make this every time I have a dinner party because I can make it the day before. I sometimes put strawberries in strawberry jelly and set that in the ramekins before adding panna cotta. - seaangel

Ingredients

  • 180g white cooking chocolate
  • 2 cup thickened cream
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbs water
  • 1 1/2 tsp gelatine powder

Method

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients, except water and gelatine, in a saucepan over medium heat until chocolate has melted.
  • Step 2
    Place boiling water in small bowl, sprinkle gelatine over and stir until dissolved.

  • Step 3
    Combine with chocolate mixture.
  • Step 4
    Pour into 6-8 small ramekins or glasses and set in fridge 4 hours.
Recipe Notes

Serve with mixed berries, cream and grated chocolate. Light cream may be used. To help remove panna cotta from moulds/ramekins easier, dip in hot water for few seconds before turning out. I used Plaistowe chocolate.
