So simple, but absolutely divine. I make this every time I have a dinner party because I can make it the day before. I sometimes put strawberries in strawberry jelly and set that in the ramekins before adding panna cotta.
Ingredients
- 180g white cooking chocolate
- 2 cup thickened cream
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbs water
- 1 1/2 tsp gelatine powder
Method
-
Step 1Place all ingredients, except water and gelatine, in a saucepan over medium heat until chocolate has melted.
-
Step 2Place boiling water in small bowl, sprinkle gelatine over and stir until dissolved.
-
Step 3Combine with chocolate mixture.
-
Step 4Pour into 6-8 small ramekins or glasses and set in fridge 4 hours.
Recipe Notes
Serve with mixed berries, cream and grated chocolate. Light cream may be used. To help remove panna cotta from moulds/ramekins easier, dip in hot water for few seconds before turning out. I used Plaistowe chocolate.
