A creamy and easy-to-make 'ice cream'. Lovely for a dinner party dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs instant coffee powder
- 1/3 cup boiling water
- 2 tbs Tia Maria
- 400 g condensed milk
- 600 ml cream
- 12 Savoiardi sponge finger biscuits
- 1/4 cup milk
Method

Step 1Combine coffee, water and Tia Maria and set aside until cool.

Step 2Combine condensed milk and cream in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until thick.

Step 3Beat in half the coffee mixture.

Step 4Combine remaining coffee mixture with milk and brush well over both sides of the sponge biscuits.

Step 5Line a 20cm square cake pan with foil and spoon half the cream mixture into the pan.

Step 6Top with biscuits and remaining cream mixture. Freeze until set.
