Easy quiche recipe with ingredients no more than one cup, and only one bowl. Great to eat hot or cold. This is a base recipe and can be changed to suit personal tastes. Add other ingredients such as shredded chicken, ham, corn, asparagus or capsicum.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cheese grated
- 1 cup bacon diced
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup Woolworths Essentials Self-Raising Flour
- 1 onion diced small
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp salt and pepper *to taste
- 1 tomato thinly sliced
Method

Step 1Combine the cheese, bacon, milk, flour, onion and eggs in a large bowl.

Step 2Mix until all ingredients are well combined, then season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Place a 24 cm ovenproof flan / quiche dish on an oven tray. Pour mixture into dish and decorate top with tomato slices.

Step 4Bake at 180C for about 50 minutes, or until top is golden and mixture is set in centre.

Step 5Cut quiche into wedges and serve with salad of your choice.

Recipe Notes
I've made several variations adding a can of corn and shredded hot chicken. Use anything that is left over in the fridge.
