Ingredients
- 1 onion diced
- 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- 500 g beef mince
- 500 g pasta sauce
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 1/2 tbs tomato paste
Method

Step 1Heat the olive oil in a saucepan.

Step 2Add onion and stir.

Step 3Add all spices including garlic, and stir until onion is translucent.

Step 4Add tomato paste and stir again.

Step 5Add beef mince and stir until browned.

Step 6Add pasta sauce and simmer on low whilst cooking pasta. Stir occasionally.
Recipe Notes
Serve on a bed of fresh pasta with garlic bread on the side. Sauce is better the next day; leave in fridge and reheat.
