A really nice, soft textured slice that can be made crunchy by using white sugar instead of brown.
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 125 g butter melted
- 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbs cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup coconut
Method

Step 1Mix all dry ingredients together and stir in melted butter.

Step 2Press into a slice tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 10-15 minutes or until soft to touch and brown on top.

Step 3Cool and ice with chocolate icing.
