Ingredients

  • 125 g butter
  • 2/3 cup Woolworths Essentials Caster Sugar
  • 2 tbs golden syrup
  • 198 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 packet Arnott's Milk Arrowroot biscuits crushed

Topping

  • 200 g hazelnut milk chocolate
  • 165 g copha

Method

  • Step 1
Combine butter, sugar and golden syrup in a saucepan and melt. Add the sweetened condensed milk and bring to boil.
  • Step 2
Combine with crushed biscuits and press into a slice tin.
  • Step 3
Meanwhile to make the topping, melt the copha and chocolate together, being careful to not burn the mixture. Pour over slice. Refrigerate or freeze.
Recipe Notes

You'll have about half a can of condensed milk left, so make sure to store it in an airtight container in the fridge. You can use it for other treats or in your morning coffee.

This slice needs to be kept cold or the topping will melt.

I always let it warm up a bit to cut into small serves and the pop back in the freezer.
