With hot cross buns already making their way onto supermarket shelves, we can officially say we’re in Easter treat mode: chocolate included, too.

Many of our favourite choccy treats are appearing again, but we’re always on the (Easter egg) hunt for anything new and exciting.

This year, Aussie brand Pistachio Papi, the brains behind the viral sweet pistachio spread, have released an Easter treat for pistachio lovers.

Pistachio: the dessert trend of 2025 (and probably 2026)

From cheesecakes to slices and gelato to chocolate bars, pistachio-flavoured sweet treats have been all the rage this past year.

And Pistachio Papi has taken centre stage in this rage: a creamy, sweet spread made from pistachios, which has proved to be just as popular as other sweet spreads such as Nutella and Biscoff.

Now decadent chocolate truffles are a part of the Pistachio Papi lineup.

What exactly are Pistachio Papi-Filled Truffles?

Pistachio Papi-Filled Truffles feature creamy milk chocolate filled with the iconic Pistachio Papi spread. The truffles are then rolled in crushed caramelised pistachios.

They’re crunchy, they’re sweet, they’re decadent: they’re everything you need this Easter.

Our thoughts on the Pistachio Papi-Filled Truffles

Best Recipes team member, Stella Morelli, was fortunate enough to give these truffles a go.

And her thoughts? 10/10 perfection.

“It’s like a pistachio Ferrero Rocher, with the crackly bits on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate and then the delectable Pistachio Papi spread on the inside.”

Often with these kinds of treats, we’re always let down by the amount of filling they add – it’s just never enough!

But Stella confirmed that Pistachio Papi has not skimped out, describing the truffles as having a “super generous filling”.

We need them ASAP.

When can I buy Pistachio Papi-Filled Truffles?

Luckily for us, we don’t have to wait until Easter to try these beauties.

Pistachio Papi-Filled Truffles are available from Woolworths supermarkets now for RRP $15 per pack. Each box contains five truffles.
