Woolies is launching a cheesecake that uses classic Christmas flavours, and trust us, you’ll want to make room for it on your Christmas dessert table.

Woolworths Gingerbread Cheesecake: what we know

Gingerbread is obviously one of the most Christmassy treats you can get.

That’s why Woolies has taken that iconic gingerbread flavour and turned it into a dessert Aussies are sure to love.

This year, Gingerbread Cheesecake has joined the Woolies’ Christmas dessert lineup. This decadent baked cheesecake features a golden biscuit base, creamy gingerbread cheesecake and is topped with a gingerbread biscuit and a hand-piped ring of dulce de leche.

It sounds like the perfect way to enjoy the spicy flavours of gingerbread in the Aussie heat.

You know it’s a great day in the office when a cheesecake turns up at 3pm, ready to be devoured.

Everyone in the team took a slice of this decadent cheesecake and we were all very pleased with it. It’s essentially how it sounds: a gingerbread cheesecake.

It’s got a strong gingerbread flavour throughout the entire cheesecake, and the hand-piped dulce de leche adds a lovely sweetness that pairs well with the ginger spiciness.

Plus, we love the gingerbread biscuit on top – there was no cuter way to finish off this festive dessert!
