PSA: Woolies is launching a Cinnabon bakery-inspired cake

Earlier this year, during the fun and chaos of hot cross bun season, Woolies launched the best hot cross bun flavour EVER.

The Cinnabon Hot Cross Bun: in collaboration with cinnamon scroll experts, Cinnabon.

While I’m a proud traditionalist when it comes to hot cross buns, these hot cross buns were AMAZING – it was like a cinnamon scroll and a hot cross bun had a baby and it just made a lot of sense.

Now, Woolies is partnering with Cinnabon again to turn one of Woolies’ most popular bakery items into a Cinnabon delight.

Spice up arvo tea with the new Cinnabon Cake at Woolies

Woolies is taking its signature cakes and giving them a Cinnabon bakery-inspired twist.

The Cinnabon Cake features a light sponge swirled with Cinnabon’s signature cinnamon spice, and it’s topped with a generous swirl of fluffy and sweet cream cheese frosting.

We’re getting serious carrot cake energy from this one, but less carrot, more cinnamon – sounds delicious!

After the success of the hot cross buns (more than 300,000 packets sold!), we just know this cake is definitely going to be one to try out.
