Korean food has become all the rage in Australia. From sizzling bibimbap (rice bowl) to flavour-packed yangnyeom chicken (AKA Korean fried chicken), this colourful and flavoursome cuisine is easily one of our favourite eat-out options.
Now, Arnott’s has jumped on the Korean craze and launched a new Shapes flavour inspired by the most popular Korean feast to enjoy.
Shapes Fully Loaded: Chargrilled Korean BBQ
When I first saw Shapes launching this legendary flavour, I instantly thought about the best nights I’ve had with friends, grilling up Korean meats in a bustling restaurant.
New Shapes Fully Loaded Chargrilled Korean BBQ combines the flavours of succulent chargrilled smoky Korean meat with the sweetness and slight spices of Korean sauces.

My kind of cracker.
A spokesperson for Arnott’s said: “We’ve been watching the growing popularity of Asian flavours amongst Aussie consumers, particularly with younger audiences who crave new experiences, tastes and heavily engage with social trends.”
“This newest flavour addition captures this feeling of exciting experiences through its bold and tasty flavours. Each crunch is like heading to your favourite KBBQ spot with your mates after a busy week.”
How does this new flavour ‘shape’ up in the Shapes line-up?
If you love sweet, smoky flavours, or more specifically, the taste of salty charred Korean meats dipped in sweet and spicy gochujang, you’re going to love this flavour. As a KBBQ fanatic, I was sceptical but pleasantly surprised at the lovely smoky flavour.

Are they better than a Chicken Crimpy (best Shape flavour in my opinion)? No. But, is this new flavour very much welcomed in the Shapes line-up? BIG YES.
Where can I buy Shapes Fully Loaded Chargrilled Korean BBQ?
This new Shapes flavour will be available from mid-May in Woolworths for RRP $4 per box.
