Gluten-free scones that people who aren't "gluten free" will actually eat!
Ingredients
- 60 g butter
- 3 cup gluten-free self-raising flour
- 280 ml milk
- 1 egg beaten
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 220C and line a tray with baking paper.

Step 2Rub butter into flour. Add beaten egg and milk, cutting in with a knife lightly.

Step 3Once incorporated, press out onto floured bench and cut into rounds with floured cutter.

Step 4Place on tray fairly close together, and bake for 12-13 minutes.

Recipe Notes
I've tried lots of different gluten free flour brands, but believe that White Wings gluten free flour is the best for scones. Other brands seem to make a heavier scone.
