Ingredients

  • 2 cup salt cod
  • 2 cup potato diced
  • 1 egg whites beaten
  • 2 tbs cream
  • 1 cup oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Soak the codfish overnight.
  • Step 2
    Pick apart in fine pieces.
  • Step 3
    Cut potatoes into small pieces and boil together with the codfish.
  • Step 4
    When potatoes are cooked, mash all together.
  • Step 5
    Fold in the egg and enough cream to make the mixture light and fluffy. If the mixture is dry, add more cream.
  • Step 6
    Drop the mixture from the end of a spoon into deep hot fat and fry until light brown.
Recipe Notes
Delicious served with tartar sauce.
