Quick and easy.
Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 2 tbs honey
- 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tbs boiling water
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 120 g chocolate
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 160C. Grease and line a 20 cm square cake pan extending paper over the edges.

Step 2Melt butter and honey over medium heat, stirring until butter is hot. Remove from heat and stir in bicarbonate of soda and water. Mixture will become frothy.

Step 3Combine caster sugar, coconut, flour, oats and Chokito bar in a large bowl, mix well. Add butter mixture and stir until combined.

Step 4Press mixture into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool in pan before cutting.

- 1 20cm square loose base cake pan
Recipe Notes
Use Nestle Chokito bars, or chocolate bars of choice.
