Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 kg beef rump steak, cut into strips, fat trimmed
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges *to serve
  • 260 g wraps *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine oil, orange juice, garlic, cumin, paprika and cayenne pepper in a glass or ceramic bowl.
  • Step 2
    Add beef and toss to coat. Cover.
  • Step 3
    Place in fridge for 2-4 hours to marinate.
  • Step 4
    Thread the beef onto metal skewers.
  • Step 5
    Preheat barbeque grill on medium-high and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  • Step 6
    Serve with wraps and salad of choice.

Recipe Notes

The longer you leave this marinade, the better and stronger the taste is. Use beef rump steak or lamb and trim and cut into thin strips.
