Very easy to make and lovely with a cup of tea.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 2 tbs golden syrup
- 1 tbs milk
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C (fan-forced 160C).

Step 2Mix all ingredients together well.

Step 3Roll dough into small balls and place on a greased tray.

Step 4Bake for 15 minutes, or until brown.
