A favourite, hearty, winter warmer for the family.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 onion chopped
- 420 g canned cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 kg potato gems
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese grated
- 1 pinch salt and pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 175C.

Step 2In a large fry pan brown mince and onion.

Step 3Drain any fat.

Step 4Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5Mix in cream of mushroom soup and milk.

Step 6Heat until bubbling then transfer to a rectangular casserole dish.

Step 7Top with potato gems then grated cheese

Step 8Bake for 30-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
