A quick mix, party-style ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp gelatine powder
  • 1 tbs boiling water
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, warmed
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbs milk powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence (or to taste)

Method

  • Step 1
    Dissolve gelatine in the boiling water.
  • Step 2
    Place all ingredients into a bowl and beat for 1 minute. Pour into a container and freeze for 2-3 hours or until partially set.
  • Step 3
    Beat again for 2 minutes or until well combined. Return to the freezer and freeze for 6 hours or until firm. Serve.
Recipe Notes

This recipe requires 8 hours of freezing.
