The perfect low and slow dish to fill hungry tummies.
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef steak, cubed
- 425 g mushrooms pieces
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1/2 tsp raw sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 garlic clove crushed large
- 2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tbs tomato paste
- 1 onion diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp salt and pepper *to taste
- 1 tbs cornflour
- 4 tbs water optional
Method

Step 1Add steak, champignons and juice, stock cube, sugar, paprika, garlic, onion, Worcestershire sauce and tomato paste into slow cooker.

Step 2Stir and leave until cooked.

Step 3Just before serving, add sour cream.

- 1 slow cooker
Recipe Notes
There is no need to add extra liquid.
If using sweet paprika, leave out sugar.
If cooking on stove top use rump steak.
Thicken a whole can of champignon mushrooms with cornflour and 4 tbs of water.
