Slow-cooked tasty sausages that can be frozen and reheated for later.
Ingredients
- 8 pork sausages
- 1 tbs wholegrain mustard
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 3 tbs tomato paste
- 400g canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tbs rice flour
- 1 onion sliced
- 1 tsp chilli minced *optional
Method

Step 1Spray slow cooker lightly with oil.

Step 2In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients, but the sausages and onion together to make a sauce.

Step 3Place sausages in the slow cooker with onion and sauce mixture. Move ingredients around, so the sausages are well coated.

Step 4Cook for 1 hour on high, then turn down to low for 2 hours.

Step 5Serve over a bed of mashed potato with a side of green vegetables.

- 1 slow cooker
Recipe Notes
Pork sausages are the best, but you can use any.
Can turn up the heat by adding more chilli or leave out completely.
