A yummy pork casserole with apples that break down to form an an amazing sauce.
Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- 6 green apple cored cored roughly chopped
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- 2 tbs oil
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup currants dried
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
Method

Step 1Brown chops, sprinkling with salt during browning.

Step 2Place into slow cooker and layer sliced apples over the top.

Step 3Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.

Step 4Cover and cook on low for 6-9 hours, depending on slow cooker.

Recipe Notes
I use nice thick pork loin chops, browning is optional but I think it tastes much better if you do.
