Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 125 g soft butter
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cup plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 50 g milk chocolate melted

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 170C fan forced (180C conventional). Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
  • Step 2
    Place peanut butter, butter, caster sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl and beat until creamy. Add egg and beat until combined.

    Sift flour and baking powder over peanut butter mixture and beat on low speed until just combined. Stir in choc chips.
  • Step 4
    Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 5 cm apart, onto trays.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are light golden around the edges. Cool on tray for 15 minutes then transfer to wire rack for 1 hour.
  • Step 6
    Spoon chocolate into a small snap lock bag and secure. Snip off 1 corner and drizzle cookies with chocolate.
  • Step 7
    Leave to set for 30 minutes or until firm.
Recipe Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
