Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. These just melt in your mouth!
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 125 g soft butter
- 1/2 cup caster sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cup plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
- 50 g milk chocolate melted
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 170C fan forced (180C conventional). Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.

Step 2Place peanut butter, butter, caster sugar and brown sugar in a large bowl and beat until creamy. Add egg and beat until combined.

Step 3Sift flour and baking powder over peanut butter mixture and beat on low speed until just combined. Stir in choc chips.

Step 4Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 5 cm apart, onto trays.

Step 5Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are light golden around the edges. Cool on tray for 15 minutes then transfer to wire rack for 1 hour.

Step 6Spoon chocolate into a small snap lock bag and secure. Snip off 1 corner and drizzle cookies with chocolate.

Step 7Leave to set for 30 minutes or until firm.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days.
