This is a recipe I have had in my recipe book for a long time. If you are looking for something a little different, try this recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 kg kiwifruit pulp removed
- 1 1/2 lemon juiced
- 12 cup white sugar
- 2 cup water
- 1 tbs butter
Method

Step 1Place kiwi fruit pulp in a large, heavy based saucepan, add the water. Add butter.

Step 2Bring to the boil and simmer until the fruit is soft, approximately 10 minutes.

Step 3Add sugar and lemon juice, boil briskly for 5-10 minutes or until the jam sets when tested.

Step 4Pour into hot, sterilised jars.
Recipe Notes
This quantity of fruit makes about 8 jars of jam. I freeze all the jam I make with the lids on and take out when required and it is like fresh jam.
