A nice sauce to have with a juicy steak.
Ingredients
- 1 tbs oil
- 1 tsp green peppercorns
- 2 tbs dry sherry
- 1/2 cup light evaporated milk
- 2 tbs cornflour
- 1 tsp water
Method

Step 1Drain and crush the peppercorns.

Step 2Heat oil in a saucepan and add peppercorns and sherry.

Step 3Stir in the evaporated skim milk.

Step 4Mix cornflour and water together to make a paste and add to saucepan, stirring constantly over heat until mixture boils and thickens.
Recipe Notes
You can use a rolling pin to crush the peppercorns if desired.
