Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
  • 2 cups tasty cheese grated
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 6 spring onions finely sliced
  • 2 tbs butter melted

Method

  • Step 1
    Lightly grease a shallow oven-proof dish.
  • Step 2
    Arrange fish in the dish in a single layer and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Step 3
    Combine breadcrumbs, cheese, mustard, spring onions and butter.

  • Step 4
    Spoon mixture over the fish and bake in a moderate oven for 20 minutes or until cooked and the topping is brown.
Recipe Notes

Stale bread is best to make the breadcrumbs with.
