A moist fruit cake that is so easy to make.
Ingredients
- 1 kg mixed fruit dried
- 600 ml chocolate flavoured milk
- 2 cups self-raising flour
Method

Step 1Place fruit in a bowl and cover with flavoured milk. Mix and refrigerate overnight.

Step 2Add the self-raising flour and mix well.

Step 3Grease and line a cake tin with baking paper.

Step 4Pour mixture into cake tin and cook for 1½ hours in a preheated 180C oven.
Recipe Notes
Fruit must soak overnight.
It may need longer to cook - check with skewer.
You could use coffee-flavoured milk also.
