A very tasty, self-crusting quiche using smoked salmon.
Ingredients
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 3 egg
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1 cup cheese grated
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup self-raising flour
- 1 tomato
- 200 g smoked salmon
- 1/2 cup parsley chopped
Method

Step 1Add to the food processor the eggs, cheese, milk, salt and pepper, mix together.

Step 2Pour in melted butter and flour and mix. Add the onion. Pour mixture into greased flan dish.

Step 3Break salmon into pieces, place evenly in the mixture.

Step 4Top with parsley and tomato slices.

Step 5Bake at 180C for 1 hour.

- 1 food processor
Recipe Notes
Can be served hot or cold. Leave to cool before lifting out if you prefer a firm base.
