One of the best chicken wing recipes I have tasted.
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wing
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tbs white vinegar
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbs satay sauce
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 3 tbs tomato sauce
- 1 tbs ginger grated
Method

Step 1Drop chicken wings into boiling salted water and cook for 10 minutes. Drain.

Step 2Combine remaining ingredients in bowl.

Step 3Add chicken wings and stir until well coated with marinade.

Step 4Stand for 30 minutes, turning occasionally .

Step 5Place chicken wings and marinade in baking dish and bake at 180C for 45 minutes, turning frequently.

Recipe Notes
This a bit fiddly but well worth it. I usually serve as part of a Chinese meal, with fried rice and scallop toast. Use green ginger.
