Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wing
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 tbs white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbs satay sauce
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 3 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs ginger grated

Method

  • Step 1
    Drop chicken wings into boiling salted water and cook for 10 minutes. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Combine remaining ingredients in bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add chicken wings and stir until well coated with marinade.
  • Step 4
    Stand for 30 minutes, turning occasionally .
  • Step 5
    Place chicken wings and marinade in baking dish and bake at 180C for 45 minutes, turning frequently.

  • 1 baking dish
Recipe Notes
This a bit fiddly but well worth it. I usually serve as part of a Chinese meal, with fried rice and scallop toast. Use green ginger.
