A simple way to dress up prawns.
Ingredients
- 750 g green prawns medium peeled
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 2 garlic clove
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 fresh flat-leaf parsley
Dipping Sauce
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 400 g tomato diced
- 2 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbs sweet paprika
- 1 onion diced
Method

Step 1Place prawns onto 18 soaked bamboo skewers, allowing 3 prawns per skewer.

Step 2Combine oil, garlic and paprika. Brush over prawns and stand for 10 minutes.

Step 3Preheat BBQ and turn prawns over a high heat for 2-3 minues, or until cooked through. Serve with dipping sauce.

Step 4Dipping sauce: combine tomato sauce, brown sugar, diced tomatoes, cider vinegar, sweet paprika and chopped onion in to a sauce pan. Bring to the boil, stir to prevent sticking. Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring often.
