Quick, easy and really tasty.
Ingredients
Meatballs
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 onion diced
- 1 garlic clove diced
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 egg
- 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbs curry powder
Gravy
- 2 tbs tomato paste
- 2 beef stock cube
- 2 tbs brown sugar
- 2 tbs fruit chutney
- 2 cup water
- 2 tsp cornflour
- 2 tbs water
Method

Step 1Heat oil in a large heavy based frying pan.

Step 2Cook onion and garlic until brown.

Step 3Remove from pan and combine with mince, egg, sauce, and salt and pepper.

Step 4Roll into small meatballs.

Step 5Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 6Heat extra oil in same frying pan.

Step 7Fry meatballs until well browned.

Step 8Sprinkle over curry and cook for a further minute.

Step 9Add gravy ingredients, except cornflour.

Step 10Cook gently for 30 minutes.

Step 11Thicken gravy with cornflour dissolved in 2 tablespoons water.
