Ingredients

  • 150 g dark chocolate melts
  • 80 g Mars Bar chopped
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • 50 g white chocolate melts

Method

  • Step 1
Melt dark chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Stir until chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth.
  • Step 2
Using small paintbrush, brush a layer of chocolate inside foil cases. Stand cases upside-down on wire rack to set.
  • Step 3
Melt Mars bar and cream over low heat, stirring continuously. When mixture is smooth, remove from heat and cool until just starting to set.
  • Step 4
Spoon mixture into each foil cup, leaving a 3mm space at the top.
  • Step 5
Spoon rest of melted chocolate over the Mars bar mixture and allow to set.
  • Step 6
Melt white chocolate in a bowl over simmering water. Drizzle over chocolate caramels for decoration.

Equipment

  • 2 bowl
  • 1 wire rack
  • 1 wooden spoon
  • 24 foil patty pan cases
Recipe Notes

I have made these many times as gifts. I wrap them in cellophane with a ribbon.

Everyone comments on how good they are.

Use 24 small foil confectionery cups.
