Ingredients

  • 1 kg potato large peeled

Method

  • Step 1
    Cut potatoes into large chips.Simmer chips in water for 15 minutes. Drain.
  • Step 2
    Place in freezer for 45-60 minutes in open container
  • Step 3
    Par-cook chips in oil at 120C for 10 minutes. Drain.
  • Step 4
    When ready to serve, cook chips again in oil at 180C until golden and crisp.

Tips to convert this recipe to cook in an air fryer

Spray with oil on all sides and bake as directed in the air fryer until golden.
