Ingredients

  • 600 g Laucke Crusty bread mix
  • 2 tsp yeast
  • 380 ml water
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
  • 1 salt
  • 1 cheddar cheese grated *to taste
  • 1 olive oil *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Add first three ingredients to bread pan in the order required for bread machine.
  • Step 2
    Select pizza or dough setting.
  • Step 3
    Once finished, knead the dough lightly on a floured board.
  • Step 4
    Roll it out on a lightly floured board and press into a flat pan or baking tray.
  • Step 5
    Make indentations every 5cm with reverse end of a wooden spoon.
  • Step 6
    Spray plastic wrap lightly with oil spray, cover dough and place in a warm area and allow to double in size for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Once doubled in size, brush with olive oil, sprinkle with herbs, salt and cheese.
  • Step 8
    Bake at 210C for approximately 20 minutes.

  • 1 bread maker
Recipe Notes

I usually use a pizza tray (31cm) which has holes in the bottom, this helps the base to cook nicely.
