Bite-sized sausage rolls - quick, simple and very tasty.
Ingredients
- 1 onion diced
- 1 carrot grated
- 500 g sausage pork mince
- 1 tbs mixed herbs
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 packet puff pastry
- 2 egg
Method

Step 1Put onion and carrot into a large bowl with the sausage meat.

Step 2Add garlic and mix together with hands.

Step 3Add herbs and 1 beaten egg. Mix together well.

Step 4Lay out 1 sheet of pastry, cut in half.

Step 5Put sausage meat mix onto pastry, roll up and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Step 6Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.

Step 7Brush sausage rolls with beaten egg and cook in a moderate oven for 25-30 minutes or until brown.
Recipe Notes
Kids and "big" kids will love these. Serve with tomato sauce or sweet chilli sauce. Use any kind of sausage meat.
