Great salad on its own, or for barbecues.
Ingredients
- 4 cups tabouli
- 600 g canned chickpeas
- 1 pomegranate large ripe
- 1 packet haloumi
Method

Step 1Combine tabbouleh, chickpeas and pomegranate seeds, mix with a spoon.

Step 2Slice Haloumi cheese approximately 2 cm thick and fry on both sides.

Step 3Place salad ingredients on a platter and top with Haloumi cheese.
Recipe Notes
Pomegranate seeds are easily removed by cutting the pomegranate in half and then submerging it in a large bowl of water, whilst removing the seeds, then drain.
You can add grilled chicken if you wish.
