Sticky chicken naan is a delicious sandwich comprising of chicken thigh strips marinated in a special Asian sauce in my trusty GLAD resealable gallon food storage bags. The chicken is always perfectly marinated in the GLAD bag and is easy to grill and serve on puffy naan bread with pickled peppers.
Ingredients
- 600 g chicken thighs cut into strips boneless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbs honey
- 1/4 cup sesame oil
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tbs rice vinegar
- 1/4 tsp ginger minced
- 2 pieces naan bread
- 1/4 cup pepperoncini spread
- 1/4 cup relish
- 1/2 cup banana pepper
Method

Step 1Marinade: In a large resealable storage bag, mix the marinade ingredients, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, rice vinegar and ginger.

: Place chicken thigh strips in a bag of marinade. Seal and place in a flat pan in the fridge and marinade for 30 - 60 minutes. -
Step 3Grill over medium-high heat for 9-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through, turning about three times.

Step 4Heat naan for a few seconds in the microwave, or on grill until soft.

Step 5Cut each naan into 4 lengthwise pieces to fit sticky chicken strips.

Step 6Spread bottom pieces with a little pepproncini spread, then the pepper relish.

Step 7Top with sticky chicken and then pepper rings. Top with another piece of naan.

Recipe Notes
Use red pepper relish.
Cut banana pepper into rings.
You can wrap each sandwich in GLAD wrap to transport to a picnic.
