A delicious tasting bolognaise dish that will earn you brownie points.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 4 tbs mixed dried herbs
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 zucchini chopped
- 1 capsicum chopped
- 10 mushrooms finely chopped
- 400 g canned diced tomato
- 410 g tomato puree
- 2 tbs garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tsp barbecue sauce
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 3 tsp plain flour
- 2 tsp water
Method

Step 1Add oil, garlic, onion, capsicum, mushroom, zucchini and carrot to pan. Cook until onion is soft and translucent.

Step 2Add mince and cook until browned.

Step 3Stir in remaining ingredients and bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. If mixture is too runny, add flour paste and stir well to thicken the mixture.

Step 4Serve with pasta of choice.
Recipe Notes
Use can tomato puree or tomato soup and if required, mix flour with water.
